I’m Tierra Haynes…. and I used to feel stuck.

There were times I struggled just to get out of bed. Many, many times, actually.
​
Every morning, the alarm clock rang. Within seconds, the kids sprinted into my room, ready to start the day, but I would cover my head, hoping to avoid reality. Instead, anxiety and self-doubt flooded my mind.
​
The thing is, I wanted to change. I just couldn’t figure out how… yet I had an excuse for everything.
​
Worse, I was jealous that my husband got to live out his passion while I raised the kids, packed up houses, and moved us around for his job. The resentment was real.
THE TIME

Have you ever felt like you were called to something more?
Yes, you adore your kids, but you also know there is more to your life than motherhood.
Well, one night, I was talking to Dre, my husband, about going after my dreams. He looked me in my eyes and said, “I know there’s more to you. I know this is what you should do.”
After hearing those words, I cried like a three-year-old because Dre knew (and so did I) that I had the will and skill to make major moves. So, I started, one foot in front of the other, and have yet to look back.
